I want to have my wedding/birthday/event in Bali. Where do I begin?

 

You've come to the right place! Planning an event in another country where the language is not your mother tongue can be difficult. What's more, it can be tough sorting through the various companies offering similar packages. Here is where we are different. We make it easy for you by being your PA on the ground. Tell us anything you want and we'll do our best to make it a reality. Unlike many other companies, we do not offer packages. Everything is a-la-carte so to speak, so that you can tailor your event to be entirely unique and completely YOU. No need to pay for packages that may include options you don't necessarily want. No cookie-cutter events where they all look the same. 

With Plan A you decide exactly what you want and how you want it, so that this way, you'll always be in control of your budget.

 

Are there any hidden costs I should know about?

 

Well, they aren't really hidden, but clients are often surprised or unaware by the fees involved with having an event at a villa. Not only do you need to pay for the villa, but keep in mind you will also need to pay an Event Fee to the villa. This is a common request from most villas on the island which roughly equates to the equivalent of one night's stay. You will also be required to pay what's known as a Banjar Fee. The Banjar is the local council of the area. They always need to be aware of the goings on in the community and are in charge of neighbourhood safety and noise control.

Banjar fees are also applicable to hotel/resort weddings and costs vary depending on area.

Will someone be there on the day?

 

Yes. Our service fee includes our coordinators being on site from the very beginning to the very end of your event. 

You will have a choice from the beginning if you wish for Tash to handle your event or one of our senior coordinators. Whoever you choose to coordinate your wedding will also have assistants on the day so all angles are covered.

Costs will vary but with either option you choose, you'll be in the most capable hands.

Your chosen coordinator will ensure that set up and pack down are done according to the villa's standards, and they are also there to help with any requests or help you may need on the night so that you can enjoy the party while we do the work.

 

Do you do weddings in Nusa Lembongan?

Yes, but extra fees apply.

How has Covid-19 affected the way you operate events?

We take precautions seriously, and all Plan A staff, venue staff and vendors follow strict protocol. Face masks are worn at all times, hand sanitisers are freely available and temperature checks are taken upon entry of any venue. Social distancing is practiced by all involved.

Postponements will be considered case by case.

What type of payment can we use to pay for the event?

 

We charge in Indonesian Rupiah. We accept bank transfer or cash.​

When is the best time to have my event?

 

Most people like to come in the middle of the year, or peak season, usually because the weather is ideal. Dryer days and cool evenings make for comfortable events. However the downside is that this is also the most expensive time to come. Not only are villa rentals more expensive, but the minimum night stay is also longer, so it all depends on your budget. We always recommend coming just before or just after peak season. The vendors for your event will have more openings for you and you can also keep the cost down.

 

I/my partner/family member/friend has food allergies and/or intolerances. Is it possible to cater to that?

 

Absolutely! We work with the best catering companies on the island who are more than capable of delivering delicious food to suit all tastes and needs.

I want to organise my own bar/florist/supplier...thats cool right?

You're totally entitled to organise whatever you like on your own. We will still be there on the day to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be at the right time. However we do request prior knowledge of which vendors you are wanting to engage, so that we know if they are legally allowed to work, have a proven record of reliability, punctuality and quality, and so that we can be in communications with them come time to create the schedules.

Do note, we cannot be held responsible for any miscommunication or wrong orders made by you to the vendors you secured on your own. We are only there to make sure they turn up when they are supposed according to the runsheet.

If we have worked with them before, we can give you feedback to ensure a smooth sailing day.

What are your refund policies?​

We have a strict no refund policy on any payments or deposits made toward your event. Once the payment arrives in our account, we transfer it straight to your chosen vendors to ensure you get your first choice. Once it's left our account, we are no longer able to manage or control it.
